August 17th, 2009  |  Published in Press and Media, Revelation by M.E.

Ready for a night out on the town right after work? Wouldn’t it be great to just make a few easy adjustments to your garment instead of having to do a complete wardrobe change? Well, Myrda Monasterial and Eloisa Serrano have your solution. These hard-working fashion entrepreneurs decided to produce a line of garments that provide you with an easy transition from day to night wear.

Their line is great for the independent women on the go, ready to take the world over and not yet ready to settle down. For just having started their line a little over a year ago, Myrda and Eloisa have made huge accomplishments.

Experience the Luxurious Feel of Modal Textile from Revelation by M.E.

July 13th, 2009  |  Published in Revelation by M.E., What's New

“We don’t believe in the old saying that ‘beauty is pain,’” says Eloisa Serrano, co-designer for Revelation by M.E. “One of the most important values we incorporated into designing our line was all day comfort.”

So the co-designers, Myrda and Eloisa, carefully researched domestic fabrics and found modal to be completely irresistible.  Modal is a natural textile spun from beechwood that is often used in bed sheets and bath robes, as it is smoother and softer to the touch than even mercerized cotton.  Its advantages to cotton include shrink resistance, less likely to form pills, color-fast and beautiful draping qualities.

“Imagine wearing your bed sheets to work and looking good while doing it!” says Myrda.  “Even our structured work day dresses with leather piping are made from modal.”  Since the main concept behind the brand is Fashion Versatility and Day to Evening Apparel, women should feel comfortable and want to wear the garment all day long.  How often do we arrive home from work, just itching to remove our starched button up and blazer?  In Revelation by M.E.’s comfortable workday apparel, women won’t want to take it off.

“You’ll love it,” says Eloisa.  “But we don’t recommend sleeping in it!”

From Fashion Design To Apparel Production To Retail Distribution, RbME is an American Revelation

June 30th, 2009  |  Published in Revelation by M.E., What's New

“We take pride in the fact that our entire collection, including the textiles, is made right here in the USA,” says Eloisa Serrano, co-designer for Revelation by M.E.  Even their brand new t-shirt collection, ‘PreRogative by RbME,‘ set to launch this August at Style Lounge, is sourced from American vendors.

“Being 100% Made in the USA was a key factor in creating our line,” describes Myrda Monasterial (the M in M.E.)  “We source our textiles from LA manufacturers, our line is produced right here in San Francisco, and that means we can deliver to California and US retailers in less time, using less energy!”

Revelation by M.E. is Now Available at Mingle Shop on Union Street

April 29th, 2009  |  Published in Revelation by M.E., What's New

The Christine Strapless Dress and the Abby Reversible Dress will be available to shop at Mingle, 1815 Union St., in San Francisco.  Each dress from the emerging fashion designer’s Spring 2009 Collection is available in two colors and in sizes Small, Medium and Large.  Mingle is a well-known San Francisco boutique carrying a diverse selection of Bay Area up and coming fashion designers, as well as national brands.

The Christine Strapless Dress will be available in “Haze” and “City Night.”  “Haze” features a solid white dress bodice with sashes of swirling blues, greens, tans and white.  “City Night” features the same patterned sashes with a solid black dress bodice.  The sashes attached to the back of this versatile day dress allow the wearer to create endless looks.  Drape them over your shoulders and slip them into the front layers of the body to create flutter sleeves for the day time.  Wrap them tightly around your shoulder and tie a bow in the back for a sexy cap-sleeve look.  Create a bow-tie around your neck for a dramatic, red carpet worthy asymmetric look.

The Abby Reversible Dress is available in “Morning Glow” and “City Night.”  “Morning Glow” features a solid lightly-colored green shade on one side and on the reverse side, a beautiful mixed pattern of black, white, green and tan vertical stripes complimented at the lower hem by florals in golden hues.  “City Night” features dramatic over-sized black and white circular tiles on one side and solid black on the other.  This dress also comes with a detachable obi-belt that can be worn with either pattern.

The dress is already selling and is currently available in sizes Small, Medium and Large.  For the five-in-one styling possibilities, this dress is perfect for travel, busy schedules, and fashionistas who also value all-day comfort!  Each dress in the Spring 2009 Collection is produced from made in the USA modal textile, a softer-than-cotton luxurious fabric that is wrinkle resistant, fade resistant and cool to the touch, making it the perfect collection for travel!
