The Christine Strapless Dress (shown above) and the Abby Reversible Scoop Neck Dress represent the brand’s debut line of Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The Christine’s versatile sashes can be modified into flutter sleeves, worn in several dramatic bow-tie or necktie styles, and wrapped around the waist as a sash. The Abby features a detachable obi belt, is reversible with a solid color for day and a sexy pattern for night, and can be worn with a scoop neck or a low back. The collection solves the day-to-evening fashion dilemma and includes designer dresses and dressy casual fashion separates that are as comfortable as they are stylish. Timeless silhouettes are updated with details including leather piping, side buckles and chunky knits. Revelation by M.E. accomplishes the feat of transforming fashionable business casual attire, day dresses and sweater dresses into social hour and date-night worthy cocktail dresses for women on the go. “We wanted to create a collection that was classically feminine and slightly edgy at the same time,” described Eloisa Serrano, co-designer for the brand. “It’s the best of both of our personalities.” The design team’s other half is Myrda Monasterial (the “M” and “E” of the brand). Both graduated from the FIDM fashion design program.

“This collection is for the woman who practically lives out of her car,” Myrda Monasterial, co-designer for the brand, described.  “She doesn’t have time to go home and change because she’s too busy climbing the corporate and social ladders.” “So we have incorporated adjustable or detachable details which completely change the look or silhouette of the same dress,” added Eloisa Serrano, Revelation by M.E. co-designer. “Which is also perfect for business travelers to reduce their luggage weight as one dress can be worn up to five different ways.” Each of the five designs is produced locally in San Francisco from modal, a textile which creates less waste than cotton or polyester, so eco-conscious gals of the new “ME” generation can continue to feel good about looking good.

Styles include reversible garments, detachable sleeves, adjustable lengths, and convertible belts and sashes. A soft and feminine palette of spring greens, dusty charcoals, glowing neutrals and ocean blues compliment patterns of dramatic stripes, swirling waves and climbing florals.
