Love denim but want something new?  Turn to ultra feminine dresses for Spring 2012 by Akemi Okamoto.  The cotton chambray is imported from Japan and each dress is fully lined for a soft and flowing look perfect for spring and summer events.  Available in a subtle blue or black/white denim.

Akemi Okamoto is no stranger to color.  This Spring 2012, she's turned up the volume with oversized, easy-to-wear silk chiffon tops that are perfect for layering and can easily be belted.  All are cut longer in the back, so you can also pair with leggings for a breezy summer look!  And don't forget her amazingly versatile and very comfortable jacket with front flaps that can be tied or draped.  Perfect for work!

We are VERY excited to introduce our latest brand – Akemi Okamoto to the Altitude Showroom!  Akemi is a San Francisco-based designer who produces all garments right here in San Francisco.  Silk chiffon tops and tunics in gorgeous soft pastels and bright prints are perfect for Spring 2012.  The denim chambre fabrication is imported from Japan.

Althea Harper has expanded her offerings of printed silk flowing blouses, seen here, to include gorgeous longer flowing tunics and dresses in the same organic silk prints.  These dresses and tunics are perfect to add a belt or to wear long and loose.  Each style is available in either print or in solid black, gray and cream.

Retail Price Points range from $340 – $375 for 100% organic silk chiffon tunics and dresses.  

In addition to the flowing silk dresses, Althea Harper has also added this beautiful structured cotton sateen dress (shown left) with side leather paneling and velvet trim piping.  The dress offers a small amount of stretch so is comfortable to wear all day long and fits most body types.  The dress is available in black or stone colors.  Retail Price is $385.

The Cormier Silk, Lace Top with Velvet Trim is available in black, gray and cream.  Retail Price is $240.

The Argento Printed Cotton Sateen Dress with stretch side paneling is available with a front cutout or without and also comes in two prints.  Retail price is $375. 

The Annulka Leather Side Panel Skirt has gorgeous draping side leather that forms deep pockets.  The skirt is available in gray or black and with or without the lace detailing.  Retail Price is $375.

The Vivienne Print resembles blossoming tree branches right before blooming for spring.  The Soundwave Print is inspired by the frequency patterns created by soundwaves. 

Each dress is constructed from cotton sateen and several are finished with silk trim and mesh or leather insets. 

The knit full length and crop tunics are perfect for beach cover-ups, and upscale casual dressing. 

The Harmony Dress, full length tunic dress, is available in White, Sky Blue and Black.  The Ruth Top, crop knit tunic, is also available in White, Sky Blue and Black.  Layer each with a statement necklace or over printed leggings.
